On Tuesday, June 23, the weekly winners go head‑to‑head in the final showdown to determine the #1 Frozen Treat in Old Town Scottsdale. In 2025, Shakes & Cones came out on top — will they hold onto the crown, or will a new contender scoop up the title this year?
And here’s the cherry on top: every time you vote, you’ll be entered to win a $100 Old Town dinner gift card.

Week 1 Treats – Shakes & Cones is the winner and will advance to the finals!

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. This hotspot indulges you in The Candy Bar. Enjoy 1 scoop of Brown Butter Almond Brittle, the Milkiest Chocolate & Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks and Sundae Fudge Sauce on top. Eat indoors at their cafe or take it to go and stroll along boutiques and fun shops along 5th Avenue.

Sweet Dee’s Cafe. The mother-daughter team presents a Succulent Gelato Pot! Indulge in a layered cookie butter gelato and banana dulce de leche topped with graham cracker crumb, edible flowers and a mesquite honey and roasted corn saguaro macaron. Almost too cute to eat, but too tempting not to!

Week 3 Treats – Sweet Republic is the winner and will advance to the finals!
Sweet Republic. The ice creamery celebrates summer with two seasonal favorites: Sweet Berry Cobbler and Sweet Corn, served on a house-made waffle cone. For 18 years, the locally owned Scottsdale creamery has crafted small-batch, chef-inspired ice creams from scratch using premium ingredients. Even the Sweet Corn flavor starts with fresh corn on the cob, husked and prepared in-house for a true taste of summer.
