Stroll through the Arts District and explore independent art galleries, world-class jewelers, fashion boutiques and interior design studios nestled amongst delicious dining options from fine-dining to local cafes and wine bars.

With public art installations and native plants lining the pedestrian-friendly neighborhood, discover over 75 of the country’s finest galleries and meet artists from around the globe who work in all mediums, styles and subjects.

The Arts District is also home to several cultural venues including The Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Stagebrush Theatre, Scottsdale Artists’ School, The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) and Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West. Western Spirit, a Smithsonian Affiliate and named the number one Western Museum by True West Magazine in 2023, exhibits some of the largest collections of Western and Native American Art in the United States.

Every Thursday, the Arts District hosts an ArtWalk from 6.30pm – 9pm with live music and special events. Western Spirit is free for Scottsdale residents during ArtWalk evenings from 5 – 9pm. The weekly ArtWalk is the oldest of its kind in the country with history dating back to 1975.

How to find the Arts District

Gallery Row runs along Main Street from Scottsdale Road to Goldwater Boulevard. The Arts District extends north to Marshall Way across Indian School to the Horse Fountain on 5th Avenue and as well as south just passed 2nd Street.
